Nacho

Nacho dip, often associated with the popular Tex-Mex dish nachos, has a relatively recent history compared to some other dips. Nachos themselves were invented in the 1940s by Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Anaya in Piedras Negras, Mexico. The dip, typically made with melted cheese and jalapeño peppers, became a staple accompaniment to nachos. It quickly gained popularity in the United States and is now a beloved game-day and party snack across the world.
